VISIT OF H.R.H. Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh K.G. to New Zealand, 1869, struck in white metal (46.5mm), by A.Teutenberg (Auckland), pierced at top for suspension (M.1869/1). Some blistering, otherwise very fine and extremely rare.

Morel states the rarity of this medal as R6, it is more likely an R7 with only a very few known.

Ex Ian McCutcheon Collection, purchased privately in April 2014.
