MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 175, (3.09 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVIII, rev. around IMP VII COS III, Genius or Bonus Eventus standing left holding patera and corn ears, (S.4909, RIC 300, RSC 321, BMC 607). Possibly ex mount, has been lacquered, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
