WORLD MEDALS, Austria, Johann Strauss, 1825-1899, uniface portrait medal in silver (40mm), by A.Hartig; Hungary, Hungarian Doctors and Nature Explorers Aradon, 1870, in bronze (44mm) by W.Seidan, obverse crowned shield, reverse female figure holding wreath sitting with supplies around and behind ship, mountains and steam train, below in exergue, (translated to) 'Nature is a Master of the Art'; Netherlands, 26th Anniversary of Coronation, 1849-1874, in silvered bronze, miniature medal with suspension; Romania, General Exhibition Bucharest, 1906, in bronze (62mm), by Carniol, obverse, young and old busts of King Carol I, reverse, woman and child resting on a plaque with various shields above and behind city views, unnamed; Serbia, rowing prize medal, (1929), in bronze (50mm), by Huguenin, obverse, rower, reverse, wreath and shield and above text, (translated to) 'Belgrade National Double-Skif Championships 14.7.1929'. The third fine, otherwise very fine - extremely fine. (5)
