CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver antoninianus, issued 215, Rome mint, (4.90 g), obv. radiate bust draped and cuirassed to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Sarapis standing facing head to left, holding sceptre and raising hand, around P M TR P XVIII COS IIII P P, (S.6772, RIC 263e, RSC 295b). Extremely fine and very scarce.
