GALLO-BELGIC, Imported to Britain, Uninscribed Coinage, Gallo-Belgic Ab2, class 3b, left facing type, Bellovaci, (c.115-100 B.C.), gold quarter stater, (1.64 g), obv. elaborate wreathed head left, rev. Celticised horse to left, stylised charioteer above, rosette below, (S.7, Sills 308, ABC 31 var, Van A. 20, Ev. A5). Good very fine with a clear head and horse on reverse, scarce.
