ANCIENT BRITISH, North Thames Region, Tasciovanos, Inscribed coins, Tasciovanos Goat type, (c.25 B.C.-10 A.D.), bronze half unit, (0.88 g), obv. bearded head to left, VER before, rev. goat to right, pellet in ring below, flower motif above, (S.256, ABC 2709, Van A 1715, NT 7, BMC 1765-68, M 182). Attractive green toning, clear lettering, nice goat, good very fine or better and rare.

Bronze half units of Tasciovanos are rare in this high condition.
