ANCIENT BRITISH, North Thames Region, Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, Inscribed coins, Cunobelinus Spiky type, (c.8-41 A.D.), silver unit, (1.21 g), obv. head to left, CAMV in front, beaded border, rev. seated Victory to right, ringed-pellet in front, [CV]NO below exergual line, (S.303, ABC 2855, Van A 2045, NT 8, BMC 1863-65, M 215). Nicely toned, well struck with full CAMV and superb head, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
