TRIO TO KIA AT GALLIPOLI: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 565 Pte Pte E.C.Manson 1/L.H.RGT. A.I.F. on first medal, 565 Pte E.C.Manson 1 L.H.R. A.I.F. on last two medals. All medals impressed. Brooch mount on reverse of first medal, otherwise good fine - very fine.

Edward Charles Manson, saw miller, age 26, born at Warnambool, Vic; Enl.03Sep1914 at Sydney, NSW in 1st ALHR; Emb.20Oct1914; KIA 18May1915 at Monash Valley, Gallipoli; buried same day by Chaplain E.N.Merrington at Pope's Hill Cemetery, Anzac, Gallipoli, five eighths of a mile north east of Anzac Cove.
