ACCLIMATIZATION SOCIETY, Victoria, 1878, in silver (58mm) by J.S.& A.B.Wyon Sc/1868/T.Landseer A.R.A. Adj in exergue (C.1868/3), inscribed around edge 'Presented to the Chairman of the Melbourne Ice Coy July 1878'. With case of issue, good extremely fine.

Awarded for assistance in the preservation of salmon roe destined for the mountain streams of Tasmania.
