THRACE (MOESIA INFERIOR), Istros, (400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (5.52 g), obv. two young male heads facing, side by side, left upright, right inverted, rev. sea-eagle standing to left on dolphin to left, which it attacks with its beak, above **ISTRIH*, **G* removed above from die, below dolphin monogram PAX, (cf.S.1669, SNG BMC 230-231, AMNG Pick 427). Nearly extremely fine and rare.
