CORINTHIA, Corinth, (350-306 B.C.), silver stater (8.37 g), obv. Pegasus with pointed wing flying to left, q below, rev. head of Athena to left wearing laureated Corinthian helmet, to right boar to left, A P below, (cf.S.2629, Pegasi I, 435 [same obverse die], Ravel 1017). Toned, good very fine and rare.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 109 (lot 3624) and the Clive Shute Collection and coming from B.A. Seaby, Ltd., London 26.8.1971.
