ANGLO-SAXON, (c.8th century), copper alloy strap end, (4.40 g), of arrow head form, the main decorative panel contains a symmetrical knotwork design, pierced twice for attachment, (40mm long). Tip broken off, otherwise attractively toned, very fine.
