Apollo advancing right, holding branch aloft in right hand, small daimon running right on extended left arm; retrograde KAV**L* to left, to right, stag standing right, head reverted, rev. stag standing right, retrograde KAV above, laurel branch to right, (S.462, Noe, Caulonia, Group F, 83 [same dies], HN Italy 2046, SNG ANS 176, SNG Lloyd 575, Dewing 489, Hermitage Sale II 166 [same dies]. Extremely fine, lightly toned, exceptional for issue.

Ex Brian Bolton Collection and previously from CNG Triton Sale XX, January 10-11, 2017 (lot 33), coming from the Kallman Collection and Stack's, New York, April 24, 2008 (lot 2020).
