ITALY, Bruttium, Kroton, (c.500-480 B.C.), silver nomos, 22.5mm, (7.95 g), medium incuse type, obv. tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet, to right, heron standing left QPO upwards, rev. Incuse tripod, (S.466, HN Italy 2093, SNG ANS 261-2 var. [orientation of ethnic]). Good very fine with a deep iridescent tone, some indications of overstriking, trace deposits.
