THESSALY, Larissa (under Macedonian domination), (350-340 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.38 g), obv. facing head of nymph Larissa three-quarter to left, rev. horse grazing to right, above **LARIS*, in exergue **AIWN*, (cf.S.2127, cf.SNG Cop. 232, BCD Thessaly II 331-3, Herrmann Group pl.V, 17, BMC 66). Attractively toned, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
