PISIDIA, Antioch, Gordian III, (A.D. 238-244), AE 34, (25.01 g), obv. Gordian III laureate head to right, around IMP CAES MANT GORDIANVS AV G, rev. wolf to right, head reverted, suckling twins below, around CAES ANTIOCH COL, SR in exergue, (cf.S. 3761, BMC 104, SNG von Aulock 4952); another Julia Domna, Augusta, (193-217), AE 34mm (26.33 g), obv. Draped bust right around IVLIA VCVSTA (sic), rev. around CAES ANTIOCH S R across, Men standing facing, head right, left foot on bucranium, leaning on low cippus, holding sceptre and Nike, to left, cock standing left, (S.2424 [type illustrated], Krzyzanowska XXI/48; SNG France 1121 (same obv.die). Brown patina with earthern highlights, both fine or better, both scarce. (2)
