SYRIA, Seleukis and Pieria, Antioch, 1st century B.C., AE tetrachalkon, 21mm, (9.12 g), Dated year 10 of the Pompeian Era (57/6 BC), obv. laureate head of Zeus right, dotted border, rev. Zeus Nikephoros seated left, I (date) in exergue, [ANTIO]XE**[WN] /THS* on right, **[MH]TROPOLEWS*, (S.5859, McAlee 33, RPC I 4208, HGC 9, 1371, DCA 383). Good very fine with attractive dark brown patina.
