EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy VIII, (145-116 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, issued year 31 = 140-139 B.C., (14.20 g), Citium mint in Cyprus, obv. head of Ptolemy to right, rev. eagle to left, closed wings, L**LA* KI to left and right, around **PTOLOMAIOU BASILEWS*, (S.7911, Sv. 1580, SNG Cop.596). Good very fine/extremely fine and a rare dated piece.
