DAVISON'S NILE MEDAL 1798, in gilt bronze for Petty Officers. I.F.Miller. Engraved on reverse. In a contemporary glass-faced frame with suspension but missing glass on one side, medal extremely fine.
No record of I.F.Miller on medal roll so perhaps this was a presentation medal, a number of which were distributed after they were struck.
