CRIMEA MEDAL 1854-56, - four clasps - Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol. John Hall: 17th Lancers. Privately engraved in old English font style lettering. Small letters, 'n/a', lightly scratched above Queen's head, otherwise good very fine.

Not recorded as entitled to Balaklava clasp in British Battles and Medals by John Hayward, Diana Birch and Richard Bishop, 7th edition, Spink 2006, Appendix 7. Also not recorded for 17th Lancers in Honour The Light Brigade by William M.Lummis and Kenneth G.Wynn.
