VICTORY MEDAL 1914-19. 8013 Pte W F Sawyer 14-Lond.R. Impressed.; also WWI officer's letter to next-of-kin, 15 June 1917, note paper folded in half and written both sides 4pp, to mother of L/Sgt William Jabez Stone, 10 Bn Essex Regt who was KIA 13/14 June 1917, describes action that led to death and treatment and funeral arrangements and services conducted. First medal very fine, the letter age toned, otherwise good fine. (2)

With medal entitlement record which shows that this is full entitlement for William F.Sawyer. It also shows a later regimental number of 513882. Also printed details of the Arras Memorial.
