THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.01 g), uncertain mint maybe Amphipolis, issued 288/7-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, **SW* in inner left above an uncertain head, monogram in exergue, to right **[B]ASILEW[S]* downwards, to left **LUSIMAXOU* downwards, (cf.S.6814, Thompson -, Muller 462). Bright, a few minor surface marks, otherwise very fine and rare.
