CLAUDIUS, (A.D. 41-54), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 50-51, (3.72 g), obv. laureate head of Claudius to right, around TI CL[AVD C[AESAR] AVG PM TR P XI P P IMP XVIII, rev. S P Q R / P P / OB C S in three lines all within oak-wreath, (S.1848, RIC 60, RSC 94). Toned, some hairline sratches, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.
