Minerva to right, helmeted and draped, hurling javelin and holding shield, SC in field, (S.1861, RIC 100, BMC 149, C.57); AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued 41-42, (13.06 g), obv. bare head of Claudius to left, around TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG PM TR P IMP, rev. CERES AVGVSTI, Ceres enthroned to left, holding corn-ears and torch, SC in exergue, (S.1855, RIC 94, BMC 136); AE quadrans, Rome mint, issued A.D. 42, (2.96 g), obv. three legged modius, around TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. S C in centre around PONT MAX TR POT IMP, (cf.S.1865, RIC 86 var, C 75); Tiberius, as Caesar, (A.D. 12-14), AE as, Lugdunum mint, rev. front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels, nude figures and Victories, ROM ET AVG below, (S.1756, RIC 245, C 37). Toned, poor - good very fine. (4)
