FRANCE, Renaissance medal, Louis XII and Anne, 1499, in bronze (114mm), by Nicolas Leclerc and Jean de Saint-Priest, obverse, Bust of Louis XII facing right on a field of fleur-de-lis, lion of Lyon below, reverse, bust of Queen Anne facing left on a field of fleur-de-lis, lion of Lyon below, (Kress 527), a later cast of a very early medal. Very fine.
