MEMORIAL PLAQUE WWI, named to Harry Wilson; another but renamed to Alfred Victor Pippard. Both mounted in a timber frame under perspex and with a Rising Sun collar badge between them and inscribed plaques giving details of both casualties, very fine.

1278 Harry Wilson, labourer, age 28, born at Cardiff, Wales; Enl.17Dec1914 at Broadmeadows, Vic; Emb.22Dec1914; joined MEF 12Apr1915 for Gallipoli; KIA 27Apr1915; Buried at Quinn's Post, Gallipoli.

Alfred Victor Pippard, boiler maker, age 30, born at Port Melbourne, Vic; Enl.08Jan1916 at Melbourne, Vic; Emb.21Mar1916; TOS 24 Bn 21Sep1916; KIA 05Oct1917 Belgium; Buried at The Buttes New British Cemetery, Polygon Wood, Zonnebeke, near Ypres.
