Howard Lyell Andrews, born 26Sep1900 at Omeo, Vic; Enl.10Jan1941 at Murchison, Vic; Disch.02Jul1946 as Major ex 10 Aust Gen Hosp.
Major Andrews was one of the Medical Officers with L Force sent to Thailand on 24 August 1943 to treat sick POWs in hospitals however, on arrival, this force was dispersed as small medical teams throughout the local population.
