BRITISH/AUSTRALIAN NAVY OFFICER'S SWORD, 1937-52, steel blade etched with elaborate floral design and with crowned anchor and GVIR cypher, marked on ricasso, 'Wilkinson Sword Co Ld, London', and on the other side is a Proved mark, navy badge on guard (KC), all sword and leather scabbard fittings in brass, sharkskin grip on handle and lion's head pommel, together with attached naval sword knot in proper integral tie. Top brass fitting on scabbard is loose, otherwise fine.

Note: Licence to own required in State of Victoria, Australia.
