THESSALY, Cretan Mercenaries (Rhodes), (175-170 B.C.), Pseudo-Rhodian silver drachm, (2.65 g), obv. head of Helios three-quarter face to right with hair loose, rev. rose, with bud to right and with bow case in left field, above **GORGOS* grapes to right, p o between stalk, (cf.S.5092, HGC 6, 1453, Ashton (2001) No.288, BMC 167, cf. SNG Keckman 582-4). Lightly toned, extremely fine and very scarce.
