CAPPADOCIA, Kingdom of, Ariarathes V, silver drachm, (163-130 B.C.), (4.03 g), obv. head of Ariarathes IV to right, wearing diadem, rev. Athena standing to left, holding Nike in hand, **BASILEWS ARIARAQOU EUSEBOUS* around, to left and right monograms, (cf.S.7386, SNG Von Post 501 [this coin], Simonetta 20b variant). Very fine.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 56 (lot 1887) and previously from the Von Post Collection, Sotheby's, London, 9-10th October 1995 (lot 207).
