TIBERIUS (A.D. 14-37) AE as, issued A.D. 35-36, (11.22 g), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to left, around TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVFGVST [IMP] VIII, rev. rudder superimposed on large banded globe, PONTIF MAX TR POT XXXVII, S C across. (cf.S1772, RIC 58, BMC 117). Brown toning, old surface marks, very fine and very rare.
