ISRAEL, 9th Maccabiah Games 1973 medal in bronze (59mm) (2), obverse, ancient Jewish fortress of Masada, reverse, Games logo; 10th Maccabiah Games 1977 medal in gilt (50mm), obverse, Star of David, reverse, plain, with attached gilt neck chain; 10th Maccabiah Games 1977 medal in gilt (50mm), obverse, Games logo, reverse, menorah and the words, 'WE/ARE/HERE/ISRAEL1977', with attached gilt neck chain; 10th Maccabiah Games Jubilee 1977 medal in bronze (58mm) (2), obverse, ancient city of Jerusalem, reverse, Games logo; 11th Maccabiah Games 1981 medal in silvered bronze (59mm), obverse, Games symbol, reverse, the word Peace above a stylised image of a dove; Bank of Hapoalim Medal, Tel Aviv, undated, in bronze (45mm), edge number 4440, in small folder with certificate. Apart from the two medals with chains, all the other Games medals are in individual plastic packs with attached neck ribbons, a few medals with light verdigris, otherwise good very fine - extremely fine, the last uncirculated. The Maccabiah Games are open to Jewish athletes from around the world, as well as to all Israeli athletes regardless of religion. First held in 1932, the Games are an international Jewish and Israeli multi-sport competition held in Israel every four years and it is the third-largest sporting competition in the world.
