ITALY, Giovanni II Bentivoglio renaissance medal, c1462 (a later casting c1800s), in bronze (74mm), obverse, Bartolomeo of Sperandio Savelli, called Sperandio from Mantova, youth bust left with long hair and high hat, reverse, Giovanni Bentivoglio with armour and baton of command, on horse galloping left (Hill 380bis; Armand I, 65, 8). Good very fine.

In box with medal description on lid and with descriptive paper for medal.
