QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL 1899, (type 3 reverse), - clasp - Cape Colony. 878 Pte T.C.Barry. 1st City Vols: Impressed. Small edge bump on reverse, otherwise extremely fine.

Together with Return of City of London Volunteers from South Africa medal, 1900, in bronze (77mm) (BHM 3684; Eimer 1848), by Sir George Frampton, issued by the Corporation of London. Only 550 medals struck in bronze and scarce.
