N.S.W. Rifle Association, International Match Won By Scotland, 1887, in gold (15ct; 13.5g; 26mm), with scroll suspender and neck ribbon, obverse, a version of the badge of the Colony of NSW and with a shamrock, waratah, thistle and a rose in the angles, reverse, features a wreath at the base with a waratah centrepiece, edge inscribed, 'P.O. - W Warren.' Good fine and rare.

Together with a leather covered book with affixed coloured illustration by Harry J Weston, titled, 'National Rifle Association of N.S.W. Jubilee Souvenir 1909', 53pp with b&w photos, cover page signed in pencil by Wm Foskett (Captain Wm Foskett VD, member of NSWRA Council 1872-75 and Secretary 1876-1903, see p24); also a few other loose leaf items of interest.

The International Match was conducted at Sydney on 22 October 1887. It was won by Scotland with a score of 629, England second on 623, Australia third on 617, Ireland fourth on 607 and in fifth place was Wales with a score of 528. Australia won this competition in the previous year.
