AUGUSTUS AS OCTAVIAN, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, uncertain Italian mint (probably Brundisium, maybe Rome), issued 32-29 B.C. (3.71 grams), obv. Octavian head bare to right, in dotted circle, rev. CAESAR on left downwards and DIVI F on right upwards, Pax standing to left draped, holding olive branch in left hand and cornucopiae in right hand, (S.-, RIC 252, C.69, BMC 605). Slightly bent, uneven tone, otherwise good fine and rare.
