MADRAS PRESIDENCY, 1803-1808 European Minting, Soho mint Birmingham, proof one cash in silver, 1803, obv. company crest, rampant lion, date below, rev. 'cash' in Persian, (Pr. 215, KM. 315a). Die crack on reverse (9 o'clock), attractive, uneven light tone, very rare.

Ex. J. Gartner Collection and Noble Numismatics sale 48 (lot 2021). The Pridmore silver proof cash (lot 389) is noted to have the same die crack on the reverse and this is also present on the proof copper cash.
