TITUS, (A.D. 79-81), gold aureus, Rome mint, issued as Caesar in 74, (7.36 grams), obv. laureate head to right, around T CAESAR IMP VESP, rev. PONTIF TR POT, Fortuna standing to left on cippus, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.-, RIC 177a, C.165, BMC 311 variety). As struck with original mint bloom, extremely fine and very rare.
