HERENNIA ETRUSCILLA, wife of Trajan Decius, (A.D. 249-251), gold aureus, issued 249-251, Rome mint, (4.40 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Herennia Etruscilla, around HER ETRVSCILLA AVG, rev. Pudicitia veiled standing to left, holding patera and right hand drawing the veil, around PVDICITIA AVG, (cf.S.2727, RIC 58a, C.16). Light scratches in reverse field, otherwise good very fine and very rare.

It is possible that her coinage continued into the reign of her husband's successor, Trebonianus Gallus.
