THE KINGS AND QUEENS OF ENGLAND, a series of thirty six white metal medals (40 mm) by E. Thomason and published by Thomason and Jones. Each medal has the portrait of an English Monarch ranging from William I to George IV. The obverses of all but the last two of the series are coppied from the similar series by Jean Dasuer. The reverses are original designs by Edward Thomason and consist only of an inscription concerning carious events in the reign of the monarch. Housed in a contempory case in poor condition. Extremely fine and rare as a complete set. (36)
