DENARIUS (STRUCK C. 37 B.C.) Obv. IMP CAESAR DIVI F III VIR ITER RPC bearded bare head right Rev. COS ITER ET TER DESIG simpulum, sprinkler, vase and lituus (Craw.538/1;Syd.1334;C.91;Sear 451). Off centre but an excellent portrait of the youthful Augustus, extremely fine.
