MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), silver drachm, Colophon mint, issued 310-301 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, (Price 1813, cf.S.6730). Dumpy and small flan, otherwise nearly very fine.
