SYRIA, Seleucid kingdom of Demetrius II, (130-125 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.36 grams), Tyre mint, issued 130-129 B.C., obv. laureate head to right of the beardless Demetrius, rev. eagle standing to left, carrying palm, to right date GPiP = 183 (130-129 B.C.), to left a club, (ACNAC Houghton 767, cf.S.7105). Short on flan, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
