AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, Lugdunum mint, issued 2 B.C. - A.D. 4, obv. Laureate head of Augustus to r., rev. Caius and Lucius Caesars standing facing, shields and spears between them, above on l. simpulum to r., and on r., lituus to l., (RIC 207, S.479). Off centre on obverse, weak on obverse legend, very fine.
