NEW ZEALAND MEDAL, dated 1860 to 1866, Patk. Eagan, 1st Btn., 12th Regt. Impressed. Surface scratches otherwise very fine. $ With research. Patrick Eagan served seven years in New Zealand before going with his regiment to Australia. The 12th Foot (EAst Suffolks) were on gold escort duties in Victoria and were involved in the attack on the Eureka Stockade, 3rd December 1874. Ex Spink Australia Sale 27 lot 2473.
