HENRY VIII (1509-1547), first coinage, halfpenny, Tower mint, mm. portcullis, issued 1509-1526, facing bust, (0.4 grams), (S.2334, N.1779). A good portrait, clipped flan and weak legends, but a clear mintmark, dark tone, nearly very fine.
