SWITZERLAND, Bern, silver commemorative medals, 58mm, by Johann Caspar Morikofer (1732-1790), another similar medal in silver 57mm, by S. Burger (active early - mid 19th century), both medals commemorate the city, rev. Felicitas Republica and Felicitas Publica. Toned extremely fine. (2)

Both medallists produced medals in Berne commemorating various events, little seems to be known of the first medallist.
