ARTUQIDS OF MARDIN, Nasir al-din Artuq Arslan (A.H. 597-637) (A.D. 1201-1239), copper dirhem, (6.310 grams), Mardin mint, not dated, obv. Turkish style figure seated in low throne, holding globe (Jupiter), rev. five line legend, (A.1830.11, S/S 48, cf. Edhem 101). Good very fine, touch of green, overstruck twice on S/S 47 and S/S 46.
