ISLE OF MAN, Castletown, Isle of Man Bank (Quayle, Cotten and Lightfoot) penny and halfpenny, 1811, legend/triskelis (Davis 8,9; Pr. 53,58). Delightful light brown patina with hints of red on the penny, nearly uncirculated and rare in this condition, the halfpenny toned dark brown very fine. (2)

Ex W.J. Noble Token Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 58 (lot 1964) and previously purchased from Spink in 1973, penny in N. Circular No. 8188.
