MADRAS PRESIDENCY, 1803-1808 European Minting, Soho mint Birmingham, proof one cash in copper, 1803, obv. company crest, rampant lion, date below, rev. 'cash' in Persian, (Pr. 213, KM. 315). Die crack on reverse (9 o'clock), attractive, uneven light tone, very rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 54 (lot 2047) and J. Gartner Collection and Colin E. Pitchfork Collection, Noble Numismatics sale 48 (lot 2020). The die crack on the silver proof cash in this sale, is also noted to have the same die crack on the reverse on the copper proof.
